International brokerage America Mortgages has expanded its suite of loan programs for non-U.S. resident investors.

Mortgage Professional America reported that America launched new fixed and adjustable-rate mortgage offerings for international investors, a no-ratio loan program (with high LTV/LVR and loan amounts of up to $5 million) that can be used for investment in all 50 states. U.S. expats can also use a mortgage from their home country to qualify, according to the article.

Self-employed borrowers will find the program attractive because documentation of personal or rental income isn’t required—No Ratio mortgages rely on the creditworthiness of the borrower and the general financial situation profile, CEO Robert Chadwick tod MPA.
