Mortgage service provider Orchard announced its new cash offer program Buy with Orchard to help make homeownership more attainable for first-time buyers facing a challenging market.

Orchard’s first cash offer product, Move First, serves homeowners looking to sell their current house and buy a new home. Buy with Orchard is its first product targeting first-time buyers, who will use Orchard as their buying agent. The seller pays the company’s commission; buyers won’t pay any additional fees to use Orchard’s cash.

Buy with Orchard also gives buyers access to dedicated touring specialists so they can see homes as soon as they hit the market, and access to Orchard’s Home Match product to find the right home for them and manage the end-to-end process in their personalized digital dashboard.

In other cash program news, tech-enabled homeownership company Ribbon announced its expansion to Arkansas, beginning with Little Rock.

Ribbon’s Cash Offers program enables Arkansas homebuyers to make all-cash offers, waiving mortgage, appraisal, and home sale contingencies. They will partner with real estate company Crye-Leike to help launch the program, according to a press release.

The program has a guaranteed close promise to give buyers, sellers, and agents “added predictability,” the company said.
