All of us need to look to our own cloak of silence that we wear when confronted by this most recent exhibition of unacceptable behavior towards women – and to those who falsely claim this was just an over exuberant expression of competition in our industry. This was bullying plain and simple. It reflects a lack of a moral code. This wasn’t an example of a competitive spirit or leadership – it was the antithesis of both. This should be a bright line and one that calls to all of us to be accountable. Reply Janet Hewitt on July 17, 2020 at 11:37 am Well said, Molly Dowdy. If ever there was a time to show respect for one another, it’s now. Not just in the mortgage industry, but everywhere. Adult up, people. Let’s not let middle school become the new norm.
