Susan Stewart is the Chairman-Elect of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) and Chief Executive Officer of SWBC Mortgage headquartered in San Antonio, TX. Stewart’s visionary leadership has been the catalyst behind the company growing from three employees serving the Texas market, to more than 650 employees in over 70 branch locations. Under her unwavering focus, SWBC Mortgage has grown from a small regional broker to a national industry leader, providing a full-service origination-to-servicing experience for borrowers in 43 states.

Stewart also currently serves as a member of the MBA’s Board of Directors, and is past Vice Chair of the MBA’s Residential Board of Governors (RESBOG). She and SWBC Mortgage are committed to making the communities they serve brighter, more hope-filled places, and to that end she serves on the board of the MBA Opens Doors Foundation. Both Stewart and SWBC Mortgage have been recognized personally and corporately as Guardian level donors to the Opens Doors Foundation.

During her four decades in home lending, she also worked at MetLife Bank, Bank of America, CitiMortgage, GMAC Mortgage Corp. and Countrywide Home Loans.

Vickie Butler has been with Texas Capital Bank for over 10 years, and is known throughout the industry for her excellence in leadership, strong communication skills and cooperation-based management style. .

Outside of work, she serves as a mentor for Sisters Inspiring Sisters and works closely with organizations that help and support single mothers. Butler was named to 2017’s Who’s Who in Black Dallas list.

Kelly Ann is EVP and Chief People & Communications Officer for Mr. Cooper Group overseeing all facets of human resources and corporate communications. As the leader of Mr. Cooper’s People organization, she also leads culture initiatives to create a more encouraging and empowering work environment. She joined Nationstar in 2016 as SVP of Corporate Communications where she led the corporate internal and external repositioning as the company rebranded from Nationstar to Mr. Cooper, while simultaneously managing the company’s public affairs narrative, employee communications and the merger with WMIH.

Previously, she served as Vice President of Corporate Communications at Elevate, a financial technology firm. She also served as a public relations and affairs consultant for four years and as a strategic communication staffer for a Presidential campaign and within President George W. Bush’s administration with a tour at the White House in Presidential Personnel and N.A.S.A. as a political appointee. Kelly Ann also serves on the Board of Directors for The Women’s Center of Tarrant County.

Dana Dillard serves as Executive Vice President, Corporate Social Responsibility for Mr. Cooper Group. Dana joined Nationstar in 2013 and held various leadership roles, most recently serving as its Executive Vice President, Corporate Social Responsibility. She has more than 25 years of experience in the mortgage industry, with vast experience serving in different capacities across the industry. As EVP of Corporate Social Responsibility, Dana oversees industry and government relations, nonprofit engagement, community outreach and our newly launched Office of Diversity & Inclusion. Previously, Dana worked at GMAC RESCAP, where she managed the REO, Liquidations and Community Outreach teams during the peak of the housing crisis. She has held other senior leadership positions at EMC Mortgage, Bank of America Mortgage and Lomas Mortgage.

One of the proudest moments in Dana’s career was when she led outreach efforts at HOPENOW from 2008-2010. During this time, she traveled across the country speaking with hundreds of struggling families. For that work, she received the Five Star Institutes Humanitarian of the Year award in 2009.

Erika has been a senior executive in the mortgage industry for over 20 yeras. In 2006, she co-founded HighTechLending, bringing paperless loan processing and simultaneous automated underwriting to the loan  process to accelerate the closing process. Previously, she was an executive with Impac Mortgage.

As COO for Envoy Mortgage, Kim is responsible for all aspects of mortgage fulfillment, operations, including on and offshore workforces, the customer experience and service delivery. She has more than 25 years’ experience in the mortgage industry, ranging from servicing, originations, compliance, private banking, operations, process improvement, technology & service delivery. Over the past 20 years, Kim has provided strategic oversight of mortgage operations with prominent industry organizations, including Sutherland Global Services, Morgan Stanley Home Loans, and the Royal Bank of Canada.

Kim’s overall career success can be attributed to her personal philosophy of developing strong relationships both professionally and personally. A strong believer in experiencing life, she regularly lobbies for internal campaigns to ensure employees are comfortable both mentally and physically while at work to foster and promote sustainable lifestyles.

Kim’s professional designations include Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) and Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP).
