Calvin Ann is Vice President of Quality Assurance and the Compliance Officer for Loan Simple, Inc., an independent mortgage banker (IMB) headquartered in Englewood, CO. She assures the company’s compliance with all mortgage lending related laws and regulations while adhering to quality standards.
Calvin Ann is a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator (NMLS #1592291) and FHA Direct Endorsement Underwriter. She has attained a wide range of knowledge and experience from origination to servicing in Retail, Wholesale and Builder environments and believes that mortgage compliance is a critical root element in maintaining a stable economy. Calvin Ann was recruited by Loan Simple to establish a strong Compliance Management System, after serving in similar roles for nearly eight years with another IMB, Universal Lending Home Loans, and eight years with a national builder, MDC Holdings, Inc./Richmond American Homes/HomeAmerican Mortgage Corporation.
She earned the Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) designation from the Mortgage Bankers Association in 2017. Calvin Ann is a recipient of the Colorado Mortgage Lenders Association’s (CMLA) prestigious Robert G. Boucher award for her contributions to the industry (https://cmla.com/about/awards/robert-g-boucher-award) and serves on the trade organization’s Board of Directors.
She is well-published, to include coursework for the Mortgage Bankers Association and serves, and has served on several other boards, committees and task forces that include the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority Lender Advisory Group, the CMLA Legislative and Regulatory Affairs Committee, a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit and regulatory task forces for the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies/Division of Real Estate (state regulator). Prior to entering the mortgage industry, Calvin Ann proudly served in the U. S. Army as a Chief Warrant Officer.
