Dana Dillard, EVP, Corporate Social Responsibility
As a mortgage servicing executive with over three decades of operational experience, Dana Dillard has worked in various types of organizations, but always with the customer in mind.
Over her career, Dillard has managed call centers (for default and performing customers), loan administration teams, default groups in collections, short sales, and REO along with several corporate functions. Using a collaborative approach with team members, Dillard is known for her ability to bring innovation, new technology, and efficiency to an operation while maximizing the talent of the team members.
Dillard is an excellent communicator and thrives on the connection with her team and with the customers. She has led efforts in call center outsourcing, launching a Social Media center for customers, as well as building a Diversity and Inclusion department from the ground up.
Currently, Dillard serves on the Executive Team at the Mr. Cooper Group as EVP of Corporate Social Responsibility which includes Government, Community and Industry Relations as well as the Office of Diversity and Inclusion.
Prior to joining Mr. Cooper, Dana worked at GMAC RESCAP where she managed the REO, Liquidations, and Community Outreach teams during the peak of the housing crisis. Dana has held other senior leadership positions at EMC Mortgage (EVP – Servicing), Bank of America Mortgage (VP Customer Service), and Lomas Mortgage (VP-Customer Service.)
Dana has been recognized within the industry as a thought leader and an advocate for both employees and customers. Her awards include 2019 M Reports 25 Most Influential People, 2016 Elite Women in Housing, and 2015 Housing Wire’s Top 40 Most Influential Women.
