Natalie Cooke, Vice President, Operations
Over the last 12 months, I’m most proud of:
First, let me say that this past year has been anything but normal, filled with uncertainties due to the COVID pandemic.
Next, let me say that I’m overjoyed being a Kind Ambassador for Kind Lending. Having the opportunity to be a part of the wholesale lending vision and endeavor of Glenn and Mindy Stearns has been rewarding.
Sharing the growth in building the Kind Lending wholesale operations team has been extremely gratifying. What a privilege to work alongside some of the most honorable and well regarding professionals in the mortgage business. Kind Lending’s FUN, friendly, family-like culture is creating equal opportunities for all KIND. It is a culture where employees’ hard work never goes unrecognized, and the voice of the customer never suffers in silence.
Being a part of the “Kind” movement has been very fulfilling and I look forward to building new partnerships while continuing to nurture all my existing relationships – leading to great success for the company as a whole!
I’m blessed to maintain a positive “attitude of gratitude”. Giving thanks, expressing gratitude, and demonstrating random acts of kindness is fuel for my soul. It reminds me of how priceless, beautiful, and blessed our lives are even when faced with so many uncertainties, challenges, and stressful situations.
Demonstrating gratitude and selflessness allows me to keep a positive attitude in uncertain situations. Keeping a humorous and healthy work-life balance is key to maintaining my overall health and happiness. In return, my mind, body, and soul thank me.
I always keep an eye on the positive side of things and find value amid challenging situations. There are always life lessons to be learned that will benefit my own personal development.
Even more than before, the last 12 months have made me realize how much more dependent we are on technology to help us meet business demands and finding new ways to use technology to stay connected to family and coworkers.
I am regularly reminded and teased about being an Android phone user while my entire family are iPhone users. If I could, I’d still be using my always reliable Blackberry phone. I’d give myself a Gold-star for adapting to the new demands and realizing the benefits of technology that allow me to visually interact with my blessed family given the restrictions mandated by the pandemic as I adjusted to working from home.
Don’t forget to stop and smell the roses often and think about what YOU are grateful for this moment, exercise a positive ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE and create a NEW NORMAL.
